VALOR
Riverside County and its 28 cities are home to hundreds of thousands of military veterans. To express our appreciation for their service, the county established the Veteran Assistance Leadership of Riverside County (VALOR) and Waive Admissions Involving Veterans Entry (WAIVE) programs.
Both programs recognize the contributions of our veterans and the sacrifices of their families. They include free entrance to current and former military personnel, family members, and guests at many county events and facilities. This includes free parking at many of our buildings and facilities.
A military identification card, DD 214, NGB Form 22, or honorable discharge certificate from the federal or state government are required to be presented You may also be asked to provide a photo ID.
Local Businesses: Please Support our Veterans
The Board of Supervisors also encourages all business establishments to offer discounts to our veterans. Business owners and managers can print our VALOR poster and place it in their window for use on Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Patriot Day, or year-round. Download the poster.
These voluntary programs are just one way to say thank you to the men and women who serve our nation and state.
